1/26/2012 – Brady Texas Man Jailed After Police Chase
Brady resident Jeffrey Brown was in the Llano County jail Wednesday after leading law enforcement on a chase across McCulloch and Llano Counties. Brown led officers on a protracted chase through McCulloch County that eventually led to Highway 71 and into Llano County. Llano Police placed spike strips at the intersection of Highways 71 and 29 on the outskirts of Llano. Although he crashed into a fence and into a field, Brown managed to continue into Llano. He was captured in the parking lot of Coopers Bar-B-Que in Llano.

Section 2.601(a) of City Of Brady Texas Code Of Ordinances specifies that ownership of cats and dogs within the city limits is limited to a total of four dogs, four cats or a combination thereof unless the owner has specific written permission from the animal control officer. Over the past year Ms. Woodlock has violated various animal control laws on many, many occasions and has received numerous citations for animal control law violations. Melody Woodlock has also has many of her dogs removed by Brady Texas Animal Control and has repeatedly demonstrated complete disrespect and disregard for local laws and her neighbors. Ms. Woodlock was successfully sued in small claims court and had a lien placed against her property after several of her viscous Pit Bull dogs dug under a neighbors fence and destroyed two valuable animals. Due to her history of irresponsible behavior regarding animals and repeated pattern of refusing to comply with animal control laws, Melody Woodlock should be permanently prohibited from owning or caring for animals of any kind.

Demolition At Old Brady Texas High School Continues
The pace of the demolition of the Old Brady High School has picked up after a brief holiday break. This week has seen major portions of the building reduced to rubble. On Tuesday, the large tower on the Auditorium came down. Then, on Wednesday, the Auditorium itself was reduced to rubble.
